Officials said the fire had erupted from the kitchen of New Aryas Tiffin Centre around 4.30 p.m. On an alert, a team from the Gandhinagar fire and rescue services unit rushed to the spot and doused the fire in an hour. Preliminary investigations attributed the incident to LPG cylinder leakage at the eatery.
