Sikhs in South Vancouver are waiting to learn the fate of their temple after a 3-alarm fire broke out early this morning. At around 2:30 a.m. PT Vancouver fire crews responded to reports of flames inside the Ross Street temple. After arriving on scene, firefighters were able to locate the flames inside the ceiling on the second floor. Eventually firefighters were able to gain better access to the blaze by opening skylights on the roof of the temple. According to firefighters no one was inside the temple when the flames broke out.
