Police said the blaze broke out at about 5am at the shop, located in front of Wat Traisamakkhi in tambon Bang Mueang Mai in Samut Prakan’s Muang district. Six fire crews took about half an hour to put out the blaze after the entire shop as engulfed. The owner, Thanet Kaewket, 50, said he was sleeping in a house next to the shop when he heard someone shouting about a fire. He said he emerged from the house to find his shop burning. Police suspect the fire was caused by short circuit.
