Seven fire crews are battling the fire in an industrial unit on Porana Rd, in Auckland’s Wairau Valley. It took seven fire crews to contain a fire in an industrial unit on Auckland’s North Shore on Saturday morning. The fire was in the second storey of an industrial unit on Porana Rd in Wairau Valley, Dally said. At the height of the fire, part of Porana Rd was blocked off to enable crews access to the blaze. The area would normally be very busy on a Saturday morning, but movement was restricted due to Auckland’s alert level 4 lockdown.
