Toronto fire is investigating the origin and cause of a three-alarm fire that broke out at a building in downtown Toronto Monday night. Fire crews responded to the area of Yonge and Wellesley around 11 p.m. Images from the scene show fire and heavy smoke billowing out of the building, which was unoccupied and under renovation. “They’ve been able to prevent it from spreading both in the south and north of the building,” said Jessop. Fire crews were finally able to control and knocked down the fire by Tuesday morning.
