Fire and Emergency says flames from a Lyall Bay house fire "licked" the neighbouring property. Fire crews, who responded to a major house fire in Lyall Bay, said it was well ablaze when they arrived and no one was hurt. Emergency services were called to the house on Hungerford Rd at 10.45am on Friday. Hills overlooking Lyall Bay opposite Miramar. Neighbour Celeste Fontein​, who called emergency services, said the fire was very scary to watch and she had never seen anything like it.
