A blackened shell was all that was left of a van after it went up in flames on a highway north of Winnipeg Monday. RCMP were called to an area of southbound Highway 8 about a kilometre north of the Perimeter Highway Monday afternoon after reports of a fire. "The driver began to swerve on the highway and we both decided to pull off to the shoulder of the highway. Hook pulled over in front of the van and began recording the blaze while yelling "Get out of there!"
