A fire has broken out at a slum near the rail crossing of Tejkunipara area in Tejgaon on Wednesday evening. Confirming the incident, duty officer Mizanur Rahman of the Fire Service and Civil Defence control room told the Dhaka Tribune that three firefighting units were working to the douse the fire. Quoting locals, Mizanur said the fire began around 7:45pm. There are no reports of casualty till filing of this report at 8:22pm.
