By Lippe Nyanteh (UL Student Assignment)Following a recent fire incident in Red Light, Paynesville, another incident has again occurred there around the UL bus stop leaving thousands of dollars of properties damaged and several persons distressed. The chairman of the gas dealers in the area told journalists that following the incident they immediately called the Liberia National Fire Service, whose delay was a source of disappointment. George Bassie, however, lauded the arrival of the AFL and UNMIL fire service teams for their quick response before the arrival of the Liberia National Fire Service. The incident, which has left several persons distressed, is not the first of its kind so far this year in Red Light. Meanwhile, there was no report of death in the fire incident, and authorities of the Liberian National Police are investigating to establish its cause.
