However, a spokesman for Fine Gael said Mr Harris did not receive an invitation to take part in a Sky News and Today FM debate. A spokesman for the party said: “Fine Gael did not receive an invitation from Sky News for a debate. Ms McDonald posted on Twitter: “Simon Harris is refusing to take part in the proposed Today FM/Sky News leaders debate. All 10 political party leaders have been invited to take part in a debate on Monday, while a second debate between Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and Sinn Féin will take place on November 26th.
