The 10-year-old finds her happy place in cheerleading, and now she has the opportunity to travel across the world and compete. She has been chosen to represent Aotearoa in the Cheerleading World Championships being held in Florida in April next year with her team, Youth Median All Girls. “Naomi has struggled with her self-confidence, but cheerleading gives her confidence, it’s her happy place.
