Alabado said that the DOT has coordinated with the Catholic Church to promote the Philippines’ historical churches and shrines that give a glimpse on the country’s rich culture. And one of the stakeholders would be the Catholic Church, so we coordinate in terms of such activities,” he added. “If you could see our promotions, we usually would promote our historical churches and our historical shrines wherein we can exude the Christianity that we are known for, being the [predominantly] Christian nation here in Southeast Asia,” he furthered.
