It was revealed at a Committee on Public Finance meeting that the Government had received 74% of its 2020 fiscal revenue, which amounts to Rs. 1,124 billion, out of the expected total government revenue of Rs. Attygalle in his response to a question raised by Committee Chairman MP Anura Priyadharshana Yapa regarding the government revenue for the year 2020. The Committee on Public Finance met in Parliament last Thursday (26) under the chairmanship of the MP Yapa, and committee members State Minister Susil Premajayantha and MPs M.A. All the committee members who attended also agreed to present the second report on the Budget at a future date.
