Temperatures are set to soar next week, according to Met Éireann. John Eagleton of Met Éireann said temperatures would rise steadily from the weekend onwards and would reach the low 20s by the middle of next week. Friday will be showery and bright with highest temperatures of 14 degrees. It says next week will be “dry and warm” with temperatures in the general range 13 to 20 degrees. Wednesday and Thursday are expected be the warmest days with highest temperatures in the western half of the country.
