The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the final results of the 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations. Some 2,323 examinees have been recommended for various cadre positions, according to the results published on the BPSC website – www.bpsc.gov.bd – on Tuesday. The results of the 36th BCS written test were published on February 7 this year. Before that, more than 200,000 candidates had sat for the preliminary test, and 13,679 of them were cleared for the written test. The BPSC in May 2015 had published the 36th BCS examination circular seeking applications against 2,180 posts.
