Originally due to close on April 16 this year, the flagship hotel will now remain operational to Jan 5 next year, according to Dusit International. Suphajee Suthumpun, Group Chief Executive of Dusit International, announced the hotel’s redevelopment last year. Founded by Thanpuying Chanut Piyaoui and opened on Feb 27, 1970, Dusit Thani Bangkok was once the city’s tallest edifice and largest hotel.
