Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri gets appointed as new cultural representative at Indian Council for Cultural Relations


This is the first time in the history of 70 years of the Indian Council For Culture Relations (ICCR) that Indian cinema is also being included in other culture programs of ICCR. Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri will be representing culture in ICCR after accepting the charge from President Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe who formalised his appointment. Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is also a member of the board of India's Central Board Of Film Certification. For the uninformed, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) was founded in 1950 by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, independent India’s first Education Minister. On the work front, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri's next directorial feature is titled The Last Show.
