★★☆☆☆For the very, very young, this bland and uninvolving half-term fodder will probably suffice. It’s the sequel to the Spanish cartoon from 2012, Tad, the Lost Explorer, which introduced us to the eponymous archaeologist hero, an Indiana Jones clone with the character traits of a Middle-American brat who announces himself with lines such as, “Tad Jones is on the case” (ugh, shoot me). This time Tad (voiced by Trevor White) is helping the love of his life Sara (Alex Kelly), also an archaeologist, in a race to find the necklace of King Midas before it is snapped up by the evil Jack Rackham (Ramon Tikaram, aka Ferdy from This Life) and harnessed for its, snooze, unlimited, double-snooze, power. There are a couple of cute chases…
