He producedmultiple Razzak-Suchanda hitssuch as “Behula” (1966), “Anowara” (1967) and “Songsar” (1968) and various other classics like the Liberation War film “Ora Egaro Jon” (1972) and blockbusters like “Alibaba” (1967). Iftekhar owned Star Film Corporation that churned out many notable films since the 1950s. As a distinguished businessperson, he became the president of the Federation of the Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI). The producer’s wife, Fouzia Alam, confirmed the news of his death on Sunday.
