This should be part of the Filipinos’ New Year’s resolutions, an official of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) said on Sunday. “Filipinos should stop blaming others … stop the habit of finger-pointing,” said Fr. “We Filipinos always blame our government,” he lamented, citing the tendency of an administration to blame its predecessor and the people to find fault with the government for their hardships. Meanwhile, CBCP president, Davao Archbishop Romulo Valles urged the faithful to pray for each other’s safety, especially against calamities.
