HOLLYWOOD — A Filipino-American producer recently received his second Emmy Award this year. Producer Marc Anthony Nicolas' “The Talk” on CBS has recently won the Emmy Award for “Outstanding Talk Show.”The popular talk show won over “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “Kelly and Ryan,” “The Real” and “The View.” Marc is the only Filipino in the show’s producing team. But I knew (in) my heart (that I) was (to become) a television producer.”Before becoming a two-time Emmy Award winning producer, he started his career as a TV production assistant. Then, while working for MTV, he got a phone call from a very popular show called "The Tyra Banks Show.”“'The Tyra Banks Show' called me and heard about my casting/booking skills and set up an appointment to meet with the executives. In 2009, Marc received his first Emmy when he became a co-recipient of the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Informative Talk Show for “The Tyra Banks Show.”Sadly, the talk show ended after five years.
