A Filipina was among those reported missing following the Grenfell tower fire in London on Wednesday, and Sen. Joel Villanueva is appealing for help to find her. Villanueva identified the missing Filipina as Ligaya Moore, a member of the Jesus Is Lord (JIL) church founded by the senator’s father Eduardo Villanueva. Ten Filipinos were among those injured in the massive fire that charred Grenfell tower in west London, according to initial information provided by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). There are 3,000 Filipinos living in the vicinity of the tower, the Kensington and Chelsea area, according to the DFA. There were believed to be around 600 people in Grenfell Tower in west London when the fire started before dawn on Wednesday and dozens are still missing.
