Fight against plagiarism in universities goes digitalNo copy-pasting. Sham plagiarism is where the students copy material verbatim from text and acknowledge the source but represent their work as paraphrased. The second category is verbatim plagiarism that is act of copying literal material without any indication of its source. Dimension Education, is trying to contain this problem through the Plagscan plagiarism checker acquired from a German technology firm. The organization has so far trained Catholic university of Eastern Africa, Daystar University, Kenya Methodist University, Meru University of Science and Technology, Karatina University, Lukenya University, Rongo University, Maasai Mara University, South Eastern University and Laikipia University among others on the use the software kit.
