She has been talking about releasing Double Dutchess for quite a long time, but no date or tentative time period has been revealed, including as part of today’s announcement. Double Dutchess will technically be released on her own imprint, while BMG will handle all of the traditional tasks a record label would. Fergie riled her massive fan base up back in 2014 when she released a new single entitled “L.A. Love (La La),” and many began predicting that the much talked about Double Dutchess was just around the corner. As a solo act, Fergie has only released one album, but it was incredibly successful.
