Police discovered a dead woman ravaged by feral hogs in Texas on Sunday morning, Sheriff Brian Hawthorne said in a news conference. “In my 35 years, it’s one of the worst things I’ve ever seen.”Hawthorne said he has only come across six reported deaths by feral hogs across the United States. Feral hogs seemed to have taken over parts of the couple’s 10 acres of pasture. “It was probably still dark and that’s when hogs routinely move,” he said. Rollins had been taking care of the couple for two years.
