Around 80 young people gathered at the rental home on Friday in an alcohol-fuelled party, police said. Christchurch Holiday Homes director Susan Harrison said she felt "conned". The stabbing occurred during a party at the holiday home, which reportedly spiralled out of control. He said police had received a number of calls from members of the public with information about the stabbing.
