Jennifer Arding, 29, and her colleague Charlotte Bradley, 32, were banned from teaching after being brought before a professional misconduct hearing. Arding, an RE teacher and deputy head of year, ended up 'passionately' kissing the pupil, the hearing heard. After the night out, Arding texted the pupil: "Make sure that you won’t say anything about last night, I could lose my job over it." The teacher insisted she had no interest in a sexual relationship with Pupil A and said there was no background of flirting in their relationship. Despite being banned from teaching 'indefinitely' for unacceptable professional conduct, the pair can apply to return to the classroom after two years.
