DHAKA, July 28, 2023 (BSS) - The female students have outnumbered their malecounterparts in terms of pass rate in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC)and equivalent examinations-2023. On the other hand, the successful rate of female students in the last yearwas comparatively more with 87.71 percent while the male was 87.16 percent. This year, the number of female GPA-5 receivers is also more than the malestudents while 84,964 male and 98,614 are female students-- 13,650 more thanthe male students-- obtained GPA-5 in the SSC and equivalent examinationsacross the country. Even, some 48,332 more female students under all education boards have beenpromoted this year compared the male students. Mentionable, a total of 20,41,450 students--10,09,803 were male and 10,31,647were female-- were participated in the SSC and equivalent exams from 11education boards across the country in the present year.
