A female cyclist is dead after she was struck by two vehicles in the west end on Wednesday night, Toronto police say. The collision happened in the area of Dufferin Street and Sylvan Avenue, north of College Street. Michael Williams, spokesperson for police, told reporters that the cyclist was heading southbound on Dufferin Street when she was clipped by a vehicle going in the same direction. She landed in a northbound lane and was hit by a northbound vehicle. Williams said there would a "significant" police presence on Dufferin Street while traffic reconstruction officers investigated.
