A 34-year-old female high school teacher in Perth who allegedly persistently sexually abused at least one female student over two years now faces 48 charges. In late September, police alleged the private school teacher committed 12 offences against a girl who was aged between 15 and 17 between 2015 and 2017. The woman faced Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, when it emerged an extra 36 charges had been laid. The charges include sexual penetration of a child aged over 13 and under 16. She has had her case adjourned so she can seek legal advice and will next face court on November 16.
