BALIK PULAU: A female Grab car driver claimed trial here today with hurling expletives at two policemen, with the intention of humiliating them. Jabiah Norani, 33, who was unrepresented, was charged with two offences, read before Magistrate Nurazzwin Abd Muati. She was charged under Section 509 of the Penal Code, which carries maximum five years jail or a fine or both upon conviction. Deputy Public Prosecutor Shafiq Mahadi, who prosecuted, proposed for a bail at RM8,000 with one surety. Nurazzwin allowed bail at RM4,000 with one surety and advised Jabiah to appoint a lawyer before the next mention.
