KUALA LUMPUR: Felda has obtained 16 plots of Jalan Semarak land back from Synergy Promenade Sdn Bhd (SPSB), said Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad. "Fourteen plots were registered on March 2 while the remaining two plots were registered under Felda's name on March 8," the Felda chairman told reporters at a press conference at Menara Felda here on Friday. Shahrir said that the plots of land measured 8.09ha and are free from any encumbrances. "If we say that Felda did a search on the status of the land, there will be some who claim that it's a sham. Under the MoU, Shahrir said that Felda had the land transferred back at no cost.
