Feilding primary school teacher Tina Patching, who was the focus of a wave of community support, has died after a battle with cancer. Before she became ill, Patching was a teacher at Manchester Street School. After the family turned to private treatment to get further tests, the cancer was found to have spread to her liver and bowel. She also spoke to Stuff about her frustration battling the public health system to try to get treatment.
