It'll be a little later today that we find out whether the Federal Reserve is going to pull the trigger on continued interest rates rises. That's really what all that QE and ultra-low interest rates was about. But at which point should we be getting back to normal interest rates? Well, we've got to be careful about calling the CPI "consumer prices" because there are many ways of measuring inflation. So, we like to strip those out to give us a "core" inflation measure.
