Federal Polytechnic Bauchi on Saturday matriculated 4,887 students for the 2018 /2019 academic session with a warning to steer clear of cultism, exams malpractice and other anti-social behaviours. “Indecent dressing, cultism, theft and crime of any kind does not have a place in the institution,” he stressed. Gumau explained that for the 2018/2019 academic session, the Polytechnic received 7,322 applications and admitted 6,983 while 4,887 registered. He gave a breakdown of the registered students as 297 for Diploma, 2448 for National Diploma, 2046 for Higher National Diploma, 28 for IJMB, 61 students for Pre-National Diploma and seven for remedial studies. Malaika charged the students to engage in serious academic activities to ensure smooth learning and exit from the institution.
