ISLAMABAD: Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair said on Tuesday that the federal government is working on various sectors including modern transport system in order to facilitate a large number of people living in the megacity of Karachi. “We never made any interruption in the working of law enforcement agencies regarding the Karachi operation,” he said. Now, after restoring peace, the focus was given to attract foreign investors besides streamlining the transport and water system for the people of Karachi, he added. In response to a question about political situation, he said that there is a political vacuum in Karachi after rift in the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P). To another question, the governor said that federal government has launched many projects in rural Sindh.
