EIGHT traders affected by a fire at Pasar Sentral in Labuan last month have received disaster relief assistance from the Federal Government totalling RM10,000. Yeoh (third from right) passing a government contribution to a victim of the Pasar Sentral fire on March 13. Labuan Corporation, which manages Pasar Sentral, will also be carrying out repair and maintenance works to restore the facility. Yeoh was accompanied by Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Datuk Lo Su Fui and officials from Labuan Corporation. Earlier, Labuan Corporation had announced a 50% discount on monthly rental for 517 traders operating at Pasar Sentral’s wet and dry markets.
