On Wednesday, PM Modi referred to the controversy over voter ID cards recovered in Bengaluru claiming that making ‘multiple fake voter ID cards is the tactic of Congress’. He said in Chikkamagalru: “Making multiple fake voter ID Cards to win elections is the tactic of Congress, people should never forgive such party. Fearing a crushing defeat, Congress is indulging in all kinds of malpractices.”Earlier Amit Shah also referred to the incident. Shah further alleged that the Congress party was trying to win the state assembly election on the basis of bogus voter cards and money. The tenants are Rangaraju and Rekha and not Rakesh(BJP Supporter who Congress alleged was tenant of Bengaluru flat where voter IDs were seized).
