Fear stalks Cox’s Bazar Rohingya camps after murders

In the weeks since the murder, a senior member of the now-shellshocked volunteer group that Mohib Ullah headed has received phone calls telling him he'll be next. ARSA has denied it killed Mohib Ullah. But although they have arrested dozens of people over Mohib Ullah's killing, they are in denial about ARSA's activity, blaming instead "rivalries" in the camps. A month before he died Mohib Ullah sent a letter, seen by AFP but which could not be independently verified, to the authorities. Family members of senior Rohingya leaders told AFP that security forces have since relocated at least six families including Mohib Ullah's, fearing they will be targeted.
