Fayyaz Chohan makes bizarre claims about how Pakistan won 1992 cricket World Cup

Former Information Minister for Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and currently senior memebr of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Fayyazul Hasan Chohan has made a bizzare statement, claiming that Pakistan won the 1992 cricket World Cup due to ‘artificial rain’. The draw was the result of artificial rain that was arranged by Goldsmith’s England”, he said. Pakistan was captained by Imran Khan in the 1992 World Cup. Imran Khan is often accused of using the influence of the Goldsmiths. There is absolutely no evidence to support Chohan’s claims of ‘artificial rain’ being arranged by the Goldsmith family in a 1992 cricket world cup match to help Imran Khan win the tournament.
