Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has taken a jibe at the scions of Bhutto and Sharif families, saying that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz were “political infants” incapable of ruling the country. “Both [Bilawal and Maryam] do not have political stature to lead the country… Bilawal should first contest election of Karachi’s mayor and likewise Maryam needs to run for Lahore’s mayor,” he said while addressing the media in Punjab’s Jhelum on Saturday. He also urged Bilawal and Maryam to first work as common political worker in their own party ranks and let the other senior leaders to lead. “We have a democracy and monarchy, so they both [Maryam and Bilawal] should vacate their positions for the senior leadership,” he added.
