Remind­s the minist­er that Thai Airway­s has been operat­ing from Pakist­an for over a decade­Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sherry Rehman corrected science and technology minister Fawad Chaudhry on Thursday by reminding him that Thai Airways has been operating in the country for over a decade. The federal minister on July 2, tweeted and announced that Thai Airways was starting operation from Lahore to Bangkok and beyond from July 16 this year. Sherry also took to Twitter and reminded Fawad that Thai Airways had been flying from Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi several times a week for over a decade. Err, Thai Airways has been flying from Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi several times a week for over ten years. The cancellations were a blow to Thai Airways during one of the country’s most popular travel periods.
