These bridges include the 900-meter long Brahmaputra rail bridge. The two other rail bridges are Korerpar rail bridge, situated near the century-old Brahmaputra rail bridge, Shambhuganj railway station, and the Thakurkona rail bridge on Mymensingh-Mohanganj route on Kangsha river. The rail bridges become quite risky as they have not been renovated for many years. “Higher authorities have already inspected the faulty rail tracks and efforts are underway to solve the problems. We are working to ensure the safe journey of passengers," said Md Jahurul Islam, superintendent of Mymensingh railway station.
