A father who drove 285 miles to take his driving test failed instantly because his passenger seat had 'a few raindrops on it'. Jacob Carroll, 27, had spent months trying to book a driving test near his Chichester home. The examiner refused to sit in the 'damp' seat and declined an offer of a blanket to sit on, Mr Carrol claimed.
