A father shot his wife and daughter dead and then used the shotgun to kill himself in a quiet eastern England town, reports say. British media identified the man as 57-year-old Lance Hart and the victims as his partner Claire, 50, and their 19-year-old daughter Charlotte, from the Spalding area. Lincolnshire police said the killings took place outside The Castle Leisure Centre in Spalding, 145 kilometres north of London. Britain has tough gun control laws and in recent years has seen a few dozen firearms killings a year.
