A junior engineer was allegedly beaten up today by a man whose son had drowned into a water reservoir in Bundi district's Dugari village, police said. The accused, Ghasilal Khateek, after an argument, manhandled the victim, Than Mal Nagar. He has apparently alleged that his son drowned as the watershed department had not put a safety fence around the reservoir," the officer said. The accused fled the village after the incident and efforts are underway to nab him, Meena said. The boy was among four children who died after drowning in the reservoir on July 16, Meena said.
