Sampson Itode, Port HarcourtThe father of a Rivers 29-year-old security guard shot dead by a trigger-happy policeman in Port Harcourt on Sunday has demanded justice and threatened to end his life if the killer of his only son was not brought to book. The 62-year-old retiree, Innocent Gbaraka, from Gwara community in Khana Local Government Area, said he didn’t have any more reason to continue living after his son’s death. “I don’t know what my first son did to the policeman that killed him, all I want now is for justice to prevail. “We demand that inspector James face justice within 48 hours and the family of the victim taken care of. “We have already put internal mechanisms in place to ensure that justice is served in this matter and you will see it done.”
