A motorist was Friday night killed in a single-vehicle crash in upper Montgomery County, authorities said. The crash was reported about 7:40 p.m. on Partnership Road in the Poolesville area of the county, according to the county police. The road was closed between White’s Ferry Road and Sugarland Road. The cause of the crash was not known immediately. The vehicle apparently rolled on its side and struck a tree.
