Fatal motorcycle crash possibly caused by obstructed views, Calgary police say


Calgary police are looking into whether obstructed views played a role in a fatal motorcycle crash at a southeast Calgary intersection on Tuesday. At about 12:30 p.m., a motorcyclist was riding west on Barlow Trail where it skirts along Albert Park and struck a car turning east on 26th Street S.E. The 23-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene. A motorcyclist died Tuesday when he collided with a car at the intersection of Barlow Trail and 26th Street S.E. Police say speed may also have been a factor, but alcohol or drugs are not believed to have been involved.
