One person has died following a crash on the Te Anau-Milford highway in Southland. Police were called to the single vehicle crash on State Highway 94 where a car hit a tree at 12.42am today. The sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene, police said. One lane of the road was open and delays were expected in the area this morning while the scene was being cleared. The Serious Crash Unit was investigating.
